Born in Nágykanisza, Hungary, Tibor moved to Budapest to study Law at University. He then learned working in the hospitality sector from a Dutchman, who helped him create and run several bars. Increasingly interested in lights, he started to collect old industrial lamps and later decided to create his own. Tibor lives in Budapest, where he works on UPLUX: he creates vintage design lamps made by upcycling old bicycle parts, industrial waste and electric material.
