Paul studied Media Informatics at the Vienna University of Technology and is currently working on his master's thesis on user-interface design for mobile phones in developing countries in the context of an ICT4D project. Since 2014, Paul is currently the chairman of the Austrian Network for Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ict4d.at) and works with the Austrian Red Cross as a voluntary paramedic. He is a professional mobile app developer and his passion for his expertise is also expressed in his work at Os. Creating applications that shift important social issues into a fun environment is one of the ways he expresses his concept of social participation.
