Mikkel has a background in journalism. Professionally he has worked as a reporter for a Danish news channel on TV and been a production manager for a Danish TV series set in China. In his own production company together with his colleague Jonas Unmack Larsen, Mikkel likes to experiment and develop storytelling with new media. The Slum Challenge is their first big project. They handled all aspects of the film production from developing concepts to editing and launch.? Their academic insight into methods and target groups mixed with their traditional journalistic skills and attention to detail makes them unique. They strive to keep an innovative and interactive focus in the field of tension between fact and fiction. Not as an artistic project, but to create renewed interest in the harsh reality.
