Mariia has studied social sciences in the UK, Ukraine and Switzerland. After working for the International Organisation for Migration for a year, she received a Swiss government scholarship to conduct a nine-month research project. She recently finished an internship with the Word Health Organization. Mariia is passionate about creating social impact through community engagement. Through her venture, “Wonderful” she hopes to engage and motivate young people within Ukraine to take pride in maintaining and caring for their communities. Wonderful is a network for active citizens, mobilizing civil society, promoting visible social change and setting positive examples. Mariia is a fellow of DO School, a Hamburg-based organisation that supports social entrepreneurs.
