Mohamed is a university lecturer and journalist from Cairo. He has taught journalism and mass communication at the American University in Cairo (AUC) and is now studying and lecturing at the German universities of Osnabrück and Münster. Mohamed publishes a monthly column at Egypt's Daily English-language newspaper, Daily News Egypt, and has worked as a correspondent for the Egyptian English News Paper Al-Ahram Weekly, covering Germany's Bundestag Elections.
