Vinicio is a journalist from Costa Rica, a “small and painfully vivacious” piece of land in the middle of the Americas, as he puts it, where he works for the weekly newspaper Semanario Universidad since 2002 covering political, environmental and cultural issues. A Masters in International Media Studies of the Deutsche Welle brought him to Bonn, Germany, where he can usually be found deviating in Irish pubs and heavy metal bars. He calls himself an atheist, but has been known to worship before the altars of Black Sabbath.
