Tamás is a biologist and climate change expert from Hungary. He is the Co-Founder of Gourmet Garden, a company that wants to bring fresh vegetables to homes, offices and kitchens through indoor growing units such as greenwalls called “Grofie”.
Tamás has studied biology and environmental policy in Hungary and Italy. He has participated in a number of projects concerning urban gardening such as Kitchen Budapest, an initiative by bio-artists, biologists and environmental engineers to create a sustainable light source; MAA Palánta Projekt, a therapy garden for people with autism; and Biopolus Technologies Hungary, a venture founded to convert urban organic wastes and municipal wastewater to products for sale.
