Originally from the British countryside, Rachel now calls Rio de Janeiro home. She has returned to her journalism roots after working with international NGOs for the past 9 years. Starting out at the BBC as a local journalist she had her sights set on international affairs and joined Oxfam. Rachel has travelled and worked in some of the most fragile and unequal parts of the world and helped spread the word about solutions to some of the globe’s most pressing developmental and humanitarian issues.
