Khumbula is a fashion collective of some like minded twenty something years old youths in Johannesburg. They have adopted distinctively sharp sartorial styles to tell the story of their country and quietly influencing the South African fashion scene. Khumbula wants to give people something unusual to talk about Africa: a well cut Africa.
The group was formed in 2012 and consists of Bafana Mthembu, Andile Biyana, David Maledimo, writer Phirima Motaung and the epic photographer Harness Hamese. In our interview, we talked to David Maledimo.
