Dr Julio Gimenez is a Principal Lecturer in English language and academic and professional literacies at the Centre for Education and Teaching Innovation (CETI), University of Westminster. His role involves teaching postgraduate students and conducting research in his areas of interest. Julio leads the Westminster STEAM research group (https://www.westminster.ac.uk/research/groups-and-centres/steam-research-group). He also supervises masters and doctoral students. His work on literacies for academic, professional and social participation has been published in national and international journals as well as edited collections. He is the author of Writing for Nursing and Midwifery Students (Macmillan), now in its 3rd edition.
