Ayssar coded his first lunar lander on the ZX81 and built it with the classic LEGO Space set. He has since designed and built everything from video games to billion dollar skyscrapers and urban developments. One of “the brightest urban minds of today”, according to Manuel Castells, he is a published author, award-winning architect, designer and developer, international lecturer, and The New School’s former Parsons ambassador for the MENA region. He holds an MA in Urban Design with Distinction from Oxford Brookes University, and a BArch from the American University of Beirut.
